VISION Kremstal—the pinnacle of vineyard site, terroir, and grape variety from the oldest vines—has been in the hands of the Zöhrer family, the feudal lords of the estate, for generations. Grapes selected from terraces, steep terraces, and very steep terraces—four of the finest vineyards with bedrock, loess, and slate soils, some of which have been in the family since 1576—are bottled exclusively in very good vintages.

Tasting Notes from the Cellar Master

Ignites a true firework of fruit nuances, reminiscent of apricot and Williams pear, fine hazelnut richness with exotic hints, a very high level of finesse, candied fruit with perfect acid structure; the tingling freshness lasts right through the long finish – an all-round convincing, great Riesling with even greater ageing potential.

Food Recommendation from the Cellar Master

Excellent with veal, pork and poultry dishes, fish such as trout or pike-perch and saltwater fish, and exotic dishes such as Indian or Asian cuisine.

Pale “candy pink” to salmon colour; on the nose a fine play of fruit with cherries, berries and other fruity notes; on the palate hints of Zweigelt, with elegant, juicy acidity and subtle fruit sweetness creating a charming combination – lively, light-footed and spirited, clean and coquettish, of remarkable quality and well received. A great outdoor wine with the potential to become a favourite at summer barbecues.
