Ried Weinzierlberg Kremstal dac Grüner Veltliner

The Kremser Weinzierlberg vineyard (site) is one of the oldest in the Kremstal Valley. The soil consists of granite and gneiss, covered by layers of loess of varying thickness. In some places, roots—only 30 cm deep—extend over the bedrock that reaches right into the heart of the 1,000-year-old wine town of Krems on the Danube.
